Biomedical Engineering

The Biomedical Engineering Department provides management and technical support services to the Hospital’s clinical technological environment, with a view to maximizing safety, effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of patient care.

Information Systems

The Information Systems Department provides management and technical support services for the Hospital’s Management Information Systems. These services include pre-purchase evaluation of computer systems and peripherals, computer support services, network planning and implementation, software evaluation, acquisition and support, plus network administration.

Through these management roles, the reliability, responsiveness, cost effectiveness, network security and accuracy of shared data are safe-guarded and enhanced, promoting higher efficiency, economy, confidentiality and functionality of our Management Information Systems.
